John Haskell
Founder and Chief Investment Officer
John Haskell is the portfolio manager to the Atla Global Urbanization Listed Fund, LP. He previously worked as director of research at Explorador Capital Management, a Latin American focused emerging markets investment firm. John was an investment analyst at Eagle Capital Management and a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group. John holds an M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Columbia University. He received a Fulbright from the U.S. Department of State to conduct research in China and a Boren Scholarship from the U.S. National Security Education Program for study in the Middle East.
Tanmay Shah
Investment Analyst
Tanmay Shah joins Atla Capital Management as an investment analyst. He holds an M.S. in Accounting and Fundamental Analysis from Columbia Business School, where he was a member of the Columbia Student Investment Management Association, and a B.C. from HR College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai, India. Tanmay gained investment research experience working at long-only, value-oriented investment funds Fithan LLC and Bryant Street Capital in New York City. Previously, he was an Audit Senior at KPMG in Mumbai, India. Tanmay is a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has passed the CFA Institute exam levels I and II in pursuit of a CFA charter.
